Silver City -- Western New Mexico University got back into win column with a three-game sweep (30-28, 30-22, 30-26) of Colorado-Colorado Springs, Sunday, in Silver City in non-conference volleyball action.
With the win, WNMU moved to 17-9 (3-4, PacWest), while UCCS fell to 11-12 (6-8, RMAC).
Liz Narkon led the way for the Mustangs with 21 kills, while Lauren Anicker (Kelso, WA/Kelso High School) recorded 20 of WNMU's 65 digs.
The Mustangs return to the court October 29 as PacWest foe Chaminade comes to town.
